Marriages to women from the Philippines have about an 80% success rate, compared to the 50% divorce rate among Americans. So, even though you’ll have to share more of your money, you’re still less likely to have someone divorce you and take half of your stuff. That’s a better deal as far as I’m concerned.
Homosexuals are quite common in the Philippines. They are called bakla. Many are transvestites (dress like women) and even take hormone pills to make themselves even more feminine.
In addition to all of the scammers, you’ll have to watch carefully for gays/baklas. I’ve encountered quite a few who get online and pretend to be women. Some of them don’t even think it is wrong, since they are women in their own minds.
RECOMMENDED: I recommend Christian Filipina for those who are serious about finding love in the Philippines. If “she” looks a bit too tall and muscular, be suspicious. This is another reason to be sure and exchange many pictures. The voice will never lie, so you may want to call or talk through voice chat.
